DHL: the most impressive touchpoints of the world’s leading brand in logistics

The DHL Packstations enable parcels and packages to be received and sent around the clock and include a free additional service for problem situations. There are currently around 8,200 Packstations in Germany. These are located in both urban and rural areas. Almost every household in Germany can already reach a Packstation within a radius of one kilometer. Up to 15,000 Packstations are to be available by the end of 2023. DHL was the first company to introduce the Packstation service to the German market back in 2003.

The Deutsche Post DHL Group already operates the largest electric fleet in Germany. This consists of StreetScooter vehicles developed and produced in-house, as well as around 12,000 e-bikes and e-trikes. The StreetScooters emit no CO2 emissions or local pollutants. By 2030, 60 percent of the world’s last-mile delivery vehicles are to be electrically powered – meaning that the company will have more than 80,000 e-vehicles on the road.

DHL Express is part of the Deutsche Post DHL Group and the market leader in international express shipping. DHL Express includes the three product lines DHL Time Definite, DHL Day Definite and DHL Same Day. The network available to DHL Express worldwide covers 220 countries and is distributed across 500 airports. In addition to 250 aircraft, there are 28,800 vehicles for road transport worldwide. Worldwide, one billion shipments per year are sent by around 2.6 million customers with DHL Express.

The Post Tower in Bonn is the headquarters of Deutsche Post DHL Group. This is where the threads of a global network come together, covering more than 220 countries and territories. Deutsche Post DHL’s new corporate headquarters was built on August 21, 2000. After a little more than two years of construction, the tallest office building in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia stands at 162.50 meters on this “building site”.
